PLISSE’

Designed as a ceiling lamp, the reflector is a thin disc in metal sheet patterned with radiating pleats. In the middle, screwed to a meta ring, an opaline pressed-glass cocoon contains the light bulb. With Plissé, Castiglioni elaborates a variation on the theme of lighting effects over the wall surfaces, clearly underlining the generating element of chiaroscuro effects.
