NOCE

In order to design a lamp whose light, being artificial, comes from the ground just as the natural light comes from the sky is the theme behind the idea of Noce: that is, to provoke visual effects that differ from those we are used to. Adjustable to internal and external flooring, it must be solid however: a kind of luminous stone that can be kicked without damage. Noce is made of two overlapped and mating shells. The base is made enamelled diecast aluminium and accommodates a reflecting shield in aluminium foil, as well as two adjustable lamp holders; the cover is made out of pressed safety glass. The two elements are united by a die-cast collar with a silicone neoprene joint fixed to the base with two screws. The waterproof sealing makes this lighting fixture suitable for lawns and gardens. At one side is a lever that commands the rotation of the spotlights over the longitudinal axis and the power outlet.
