SERVOVENTO

(graphics by M.Huber, AOI Kono, A.Mendini)

The third screen designed by Castiglioni, Servento, provides a white sheet of 66cmx150cm length in industrial resin-finished fabric with its edges attached by a rod (that also acts as stretcher) to a ring incorporated in the shafts, made of stove-enameled steel. Mounted on the usual polypropylene base, Servento can be used to create complex spatial compositions. The early versions in the catalogue had fabrics decorated with silk-screen prints by Max Huber, Aoi Kono Huber and Alessandro Mendini.
